David Sanchez, an olympic weightlifter from Spain who started weightlifting with our technical director Ciro Ibanez several years ago (between 2004 and 2012), competed in the 73kg category at the spanish weightlifting national championship in Corunna on Saturday 14 of November.
He broke three records and ended on top of the podium with a 148 kg snatch, 184 kg clean and jerk and a total of 332 kg.
