Athletes continue to improve and are increasingly tested by CCES

Athletes continue to perform in competitions and silence the gossip through the many negative tests done randomly by the Canadian Center for Ethics in Sport (CCES) before & after competition and during training.

During the North American Open in Calgary (17-18 of September), Brayan Ibanez-Guerrero (LPS), Rosalie Dumas and Quentin Patault (LPS) had both blood and urine tested, all negative.
One of our youngest athlete, Ivy-Marie Buzinhani Brustello was proud to be tested at the North American Open for the first time of her career, test negative.

Athletes in the canadian national team, Rosalie Dumas and Brayan Ibanez-Guerrero have been tested 6 times since February 2022. All results negative with a 11% progression (204 kg to 225 kg total) for Rosalie and a 18% progression (245 kg to 288 kg total) for Brayan.

Beyond Lifting and its coaches do not recommend the use of any products to its athletes. All athletes in the high performance team have their whereabouts registered via ADAMS.

We strongly believe in clean sport and are proud to welcome with open arms the representatives of the CCES wherever and whenever they want to test our athletes.

If you want to know more about the history of doping in Canada, we strongly recommend you to read the Commission of inquiry into the use of drugs and banned practices intended to increase athletic performance where you will find that current Canadian national team coaches have been found guilty of using and importing steroids into Canada.

You can, at anytime, check the page below on Anti-doping to check when our athletes were tested and the results of those tests.
