Brayan Ibanez Guerrero's Triumph in the -81 kg Category
At just 17 years old, Brayan Ibanez Guerrero showcased his remarkable talent in the -81 kg weight category. Achieving a new personal record (PR) with a 140 kg snatch, Brayan not only pushed his limits but also set a new Spanish record in the Sub-17 division. His exceptional performance continued in the clean and jerk, lifting 151 kg in his first attempt. With the podium already in sight, Brayan strategically chose not to take his final two attempts, a decision that paid off handsomely.Emily Ibanez Guerrero's Record-Breaking Performance
Emily Ibanez Guerrero, competing in the -64 kg category, proved her prowess with an impressive display of strength and technique. Weighing in at 60.35 kg, Emily snatched 82 kg, setting a new Spanish record for both the Sub-15 and Sub-17 divisions. Her clean and jerk was equally impressive, lifting 110 kg, a 2 kg increase on her previous best. Her total of 192 kg was a new personal best. At only 12 years old, Emily etched her name into the annals of Spanish weightlifting records by setting a record in three divisions (Sub-15, Sub-17, and Junior) with her 110 kg clean and jerk.A Family of Champions
