David Sanchez is 73 kg weightlifting from Spain who began weightlifting with our technical director, Ciro Ibanez along side athletes like Abigail Guerrero, Ernesto Lobaina and Manuel Sanchez.
For the second time in his career, he will compete at the Olympics. The first time was in Rio, this time it will be Tokyo.
It has been a tough year for David as there was no certitude at all that he will be qualified for Tokyo.
Lately, he snatched 152 kg and clean and jerked 185 kg at the Spain Weightlifting Cup !
Congratulations David !
