Ivy and Emily will have the opportunity to break the Louis-Cyr records in -45 kg and -55 kg respectively.

Currently, the Louis-Cyr records in the snatch, clean and jerk and total of -45 kg have been held by Camille Papineau for 11 years and are 46 kg, 59 kg and 105 kg respectively. Ivy recently validated during the performance circuit 2 a snatch at 50 kg, a clean- thrown at 60 kg for a total of 110 kg.

At the same competition, Emily validated a snatch at 71 kg, a clean and jerk to 91 kg for a total of 162 kg. The Louis-Cyr snatch and total records have been held by Tali Darsigny since 10 years and are 70 kg and 157 kg respectively. The record in the clean and jerk is 87.5 kg and is held by Annie Moniqui for 17 years.
